Know what you need to do to empty your cup. Do what you gotta do to create more space, let go, feel better, and move on, both in the moment and also in the long term.
Don't let your cup overflow too much before taking action. We often let our cups fill up to the brim and then let it spill over. Spillage is not very fun for you or the people around you. It can look like being resentful or mean or exhausted, or angry, or self doubting etc. Before you get to the overflow point...go for a run, go to therapy, quit your job, go into nature, make art, dance, cry it out, retreat, write or do whatever else you need to do...just make sure to take action and take care of yourself.
Ideally we'd practice keeping our cups half full all the time. Be kind and loving to yourself and others.
