There is a big difference between coping with things and learning to create something new. Coping strategies are widely taught and written about. These strategies are useful in the short term but many people use them long term expecting to create permanent changes in their life.
The problem with using coping strategies is that they keep us focused on what is not working. In order to really heal, move on and make a big change you must create an entirely new outlook, strategy, focus, belief and action plan. That is the only way things will permanently change.
Learn to distinguish between what is just a coping strategy and what is an effective new strategy.
Don't just cope with things, commit to creating something new. Start here and think about setting compelling goals for your life.
